Wishaw Juniors Ladies F.C. is the new name for our Club.

The club was originally started as Wishaw Girls F.C. in 1995 and has undergone several name changes over the years since then, the most recent being that of Motherwell Ladies F.C.

Following a number of meetings with our local men's Junior Football Club we have decided that our own best interests for the long term future of the club lie in working with the Juniors towards creating a local Community Club. The Juniors themselves are going through a significant period of change and are currently working to develop a new home ground at the Beltane, Wishaw, which we will be able to use in the future as our home ground. Until then we will be using various public pitches at King George V and the Beltane.

We would wish to thank James Chapman (Butchers) Ltd, the 'UNITE' Trade Union and Coakley Coaches for their support in assisting us to prepare for the forthcoming 2011 season.
